Lifeguards and bystanders rescue drowning girl in China
On February 10, 2025, in Xishuangbanna, located in southwestern China’s Yunnan province, a video captured a tense moment at a water park when a four-to-five-year-old girl was found unconscious in the water.
As bystanders quickly carried her to shore, a woman immediately began performing CPR, pressing on her chest while others anxiously looked on.
The scene was tense, but by the time police arrived and rushed her to an ambulance, reports indicated she had regained vital signs and was expected to recover. The dramatic rescue moved Chinese viewers, who praised the woman’s quick thinking and the collective effort to save the child’s life.
