On May 27, 2023, in Henan, located in central China, a video captured a surprising and unconventional haircutting method inside a barbershop. A woman lay on a special salon bed with her long hair spread out on a table, preparing for a unique haircut.
Instead of scissors, the barber used a large kitchen knife to chop through her hair in one swift motion. He then vertically sliced and refined the cut, achieving a clean finish.
The unusual technique left viewers stunned, with some joking that the barber might have been a chef in another life.
