A stray dog stuck at the bottom of well was rescued in Thailand.

Animal rescue workers saved the brown canine after it fell into the 30ft deep pit in the Pakasai district of Krabi on March 9 morning.

Footage shows officers using ropes to hoist the hapless pooch out of the hole.

After a laborious rescue effort, they successfully pulled the animal to safety. The terrified animal can be seen instinctively running away.

Officials confirmed that the dog did not sustain any injuries from the incident.

Rescue officer Suriya Chusuan said: 'The dog probably fell in the early morning. Luckily, it was still alive, and the well was not too deep. We used a rope and nearby tools to make a loop and pulled the dog out in about 15-20 minutes.'
