Recently, in Lingshan Scenic Area, Shangrao, Jiangxi, construction of a direct outdoor sightseeing escalator to the mountain summit is nearing completion. It is expected to be officially operational by May this year.

Lingshan is renowned for its 72 peaks and a maximum altitude of nearly 1,500 metres. Traditionally, visitors have had to climb thousands of steps, taking around two hours to reach the top—a physically demanding journey. However, once the escalator is completed, tourists will be able to reach the summit effortlessly, transforming the experience from a strenuous climb to a relaxed stroll.
