Huge 80-metre-long wind turbine blade skewers vehicle in freak accident in China
On a highway section in Handan, Hebei, a large truck accidentally rear-ended a vehicle transporting an 80-metre-long wind turbine blade.
The massive blade pierced through the truck's body like a giant sword. Fortunately, the truck’s cab swerved to the side, narrowly avoiding a direct collision with the blade. The driver miraculously escaped unharmed.
Based on the scene, it is suspected that the truck driver noticed the danger at the last moment and sharply turned the steering wheel, preventing a more severe accident.
Authorities are currently investigating the exact cause of the crash.
