Hero policemen save woman from drowning in river in China
This is the dramatic moment heroic policemen saved a woman from drowning in a river in China.
The local slipped and plunged into the water in Anyang, Henan, on Monday, March 17.
Seeing the woman in distress, emergency responders Guo Qijun and Fan Yifeng rushed to help, diving into the river without hesitation.
Footage shows the duo, along with other volunteers, battling the swirling currents and sharp branches to pull her to safety.
Officers were left with scratches from the twigs in the river. The two saviours said: 'These scars are worth it!'
