Pit bull leaps from car window and attacks motorcycle rider
This is the terrifying moment a vicious pit bull leaps from a car window and attacks a motorcycle rider in Taiwan.
Shocking footage shows vehicles halted, seemingly waiting for the green light on Wolong Street in Da'an District, Taipei, on Monday, March 17.
Suddenly, the violent dog jumped out of the window and immediately attacked the motorist, who promptly disembarked from his motorcycle.
The victim ran away and dropped his bike, but the angry canine followed him until he was knocked down, and the dog began to bite his leg.
A co-rider nearby was unable to help until the dog's owner exited the vehicle. Another rider approached and attempted to assist, but the enraged pooch could not be stopped.
Eventually, the animal was pulled back into the car while the victim was unable to stand. He was reportedly sent to the hospital with a laceration on his right knee.
The Animal Protection Department has already been notified for assistance.
Just earlier this month, the same pit bull attacked a motorcycle rider in Wenshan District on March 6.
Pit bulls are often perceived as aggressive, but their behaviour is primarily influenced by factors such as upbringing, environment, and training, rather than being determined solely by breed.
