Four Indian tourists instantly regret starting on lone youngster... who was MMA boxer that battered them
This is the Instant Karma moment four Indian tourists regretted starting on a young holidaymaker - who turned out to be an MMA boxer who quickly saw them off.
The group from the subcontinent allegedly surrounded Maxime Arbyb, 22, from Belgium, when he complained about their rented car blocking the entrance to an apartment in Pattaya, Thailand.
Maxime's Thai girlfriend Mira watched in horror as the group appeared to start pushing her partner.
But footage shows how the athlete unleashes a barrage of Muay Thai moves, effortlessly fending them off with successive punches and throws. He then feinted toward the Indians as they flinched away from his towering figure on March 16.
Police later arrived to break up the fight, which they said started from an argument over the Indians' rental car blocking a condominium driveway.
Mira said: 'They couldn't beat my boyfriend because he's bigger and has boxing experience. He loves Muay Thai, so he had the advantage.
‘After around 20 minutes, police officers arrived to intervene. Rescue workers also came to provide assistance, and a police report was filed.
'No charges were filed because both sides apologised. My husband doesn't want any problems.
'He travels back and forth from Thailand and doesn't want to deal with court appearances repeatedly, so he just asked for an apology and let it go.'
Thailand has been marred by over-tourism as the Thai government implements a visa-free scheme to boost revenue following the barren pandemic years.
However, angry locals claim the push for tourist dollars has attracted hoards of tourists and caused a rise in the number of fights.
Popular destinations such as 'Sin City' Pattaya in the east of the country and the island of Phuket in the south have borne the brunt of the clashes.
