On 19th March, in a residential area of Cengong County, Qiandongnan Prefecture, Guizhou, a dramatic yet heartwarming rescue took place. A 5-year-old boy was caught in the blind spot of a white car and was pulled underneath as the vehicle moved forward.

In a critical moment, a passing police officer immediately stopped the driver and quickly organised nearby residents to lift the car. In just about one minute, the boy was successfully freed from underneath the vehicle.

CCTV footage showed that around 8 a.m., a woman was taking her two children to school when she momentarily lost track of one of them. The boy had crouched near the front blind spot of a parked white car. Unfortunately, as the car started moving, it knocked the child down and trapped him underneath.

The passing police officer swiftly intervened, signalling the driver not to move to prevent further injury. He then mobilised security personnel and bystanders to lift the car. With a coordinated effort and a loud "One, two, three, lift!" the group managed to raise the vehicle within a minute, rescuing the child.

A medical check confirmed that the boy only suffered minor facial scratches and was otherwise unharmed.
