Mischievous toddlers carjacked an electric tuk-tuk and crashed it into a parked motorcycle.

CCTV footage shows the three-wheeled vehicle swerving across the road with only two kids in the driver and passenger seat in Manila, the Philippines.

The tuk-tuk moved slowly while the youngsters appeared to be unaware of what was happening before hitting a motorbike on the other side of the street.

A motorcycle rider with his pillion passenger rushed to help the kids climb down while another local tried to push the bike where the tuk-tuk crashed.

Kyle Corpuz, owner of the motorbike that fell, said: 'The owner of the electric vehicle pulled over for a moment to deliver umbrellas.

'The kids climbed inside without the adults knowing.'

Electric bikes, mostly manufactured in China, are becoming increasingly popular in Southeast Asia due to their affordability, convenience, and eco-friendliness.

However, their rapid adoption has also raised serious safety concerns, with rising accidents, poor regulation, and fire hazards causing alarm among authorities and the public.
