US, Los Angeles: Ventura SpaceX NROL-57 Mission Launch
Los Angeles, United States - March 20, 2025 03/20/2025 11:49 pm (GMT-0700) VENTURA, Calif. – SpaceX launched its Falcon 9 rocket carrying the NROL-57 mission late Thursday night from Vandenberg Space Force Base in California. The rocket lifted off from Space Launch Complex 4 East (SLC-4E) at 11:49 p.m. PT. This mission marked the fourth flight for the first stage booster, which has previously supported launches for NROL-126, Transporter-12, and SPHEREx. Following the successful stage separation, the Falcon 9 was set to land at Landing Zone 4 (LZ-4) at Vandenberg Space Force Base. Residents and visitors in Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, and Ventura counties were informed of the potential for sonic booms during the launch, contingent on weather and other conditions. Video of the launch was captured at the Ventura Pier.
