On March 19 in Shijiazhuang, Hebei, a bizarre incident was caught on surveillance cameras when a parked tricycle suddenly started moving on its own and aggressively chased after a passing water truck that had just sprayed it.

The footage shows a water truck spraying the road as part of its routine cleaning operation. As it passed by a stationary tricycle parked on the roadside, water splashed onto the vehicle. Unexpectedly, the tricycle then started up by itself and began pursuing the water truck. Even more astonishingly, the tricycle maneuvered around obstacles, including a black car parked nearby, as if it had a mind of its own.

The unusual chase came to an end when the tricycle crashed into a roadside tree. Fortunately, no other accidents occurred.

Experts speculate that the water from the truck may have splashed onto the tricycle's electrical system, causing an unintended circuit connection that triggered the vehicle's ignition.
