The torrential rains from the freak weather caused major disruptions across the Murcia region, triggering flash floods.

Dramatic footage captured by Pedro Vera shows a bus stranded in deep waters in Aguilas on March 18.

Pedro recounted his experience navigating the dangerous conditions, saying: 'We moved the bus with a tractor so it wouldn't get stuck. I walked back to the town and went back by another road to assist others.'

The flooding severely impacted transportation and prompted urgent rescue operations across Murcia and Valencia.

Aemet issued a warning that heavy rainfall would continue, raising concerns for residents in low-lying areas.

Authorities have urged residents to remain vigilant as emergency services work to mitigate the damage.
