World Water Day 2025 theme is "priceless water, priceless life"
Water is life, water is yesterday, to make children aware about the World Water Day celebrations in PM Sri Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Titram.
Painting and speech competition was conducted on the subject of water saving water in the work done on the occasion of World Water Day.On the occasion of World Water Day, work work was organized by Water and Swachhta Supporting Organization, Public Health Department and District Legal Services Authority at Titaram Sri Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya to make school children aware of effective methods of water conservation to overcome the lack of water. In this work, the school children gave a speech with water importance and the same children participated in the painting competition and made paintings on the subject of very beautiful water.Suchita Gupta, Principal of PM Sri Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Titram, Public Health Department officer Deepak Kumar and school children while talking to the media and speaking in the work said that today the day of March 22 is very special for the world because today World Water Day is celebrated. Its purpose is to explain the importance of water and promote awareness about its conservation. Water life is the most essential resource for life, and we have to work together for its protection. On World Water Day, we will know why Water Day is celebrated for today, in which country is the clean water. Water crisis is a serious and complex problem in India, which is affecting many parts of the country. The main reason for this is excessive exploitation of ground water, climate change, irregular monsoon, misuse of water, and insufficient water management. Water resources in the country are only 4%. According to a report by the NITI Aayog, more than 60 crore people are facing a serious shortage of water, and by 2030 the demand for water can be doubled by the available supply. He said that it is a special issue for all of us to save water today because if we keep flowing water in this way, then the coming generation will have to have a big challenge, so we will have to make people aware about saving water. The government has got the recharge bore by the government to save rainwater and used water in the Pragan of this PM Shri Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya in Kaithal district. He said that today on the occasion of World Water Day, we all should resolve to play an important role in saving water.
