Authorities tracked him down in Honduras, leading to his capture. Now, after nearly a decade, Mejia faces justice in the U.S. He was brought back to Nebraska to answer for the crime. Sarah Root’s family has waited years for this moment. They hope the extradition brings closure to their loss.
