Phoenix, United States - March 21, 2025 03/21/2025 11:30 pm (GMT-0700) PHOENIX, Ariz. – Phoenix Police and Phoenix Fire crews responded to reports of a shooting inside a hotel room at the Red Roof Inn near I-17 and Indian School Road around 11:30 p.m. Officers arrived to find an unidentified gunshot victim at the scene. The victim was transported to a local trauma center by Phoenix Fire personnel in extremely critical condition. Officers at the scene received additional information suggesting a second person was shot during the shooting. Officers located evidence of a second outstanding victim, including a blood trail leading off of the property. Minutes later, officers received reports of a person with gunshot wounds near 38th Drive and Meadowbrook Avenue. Officers arrived in the area and located a male gunshot victim. Officers at the scene confirmed that the victim found at 38th Drive and Meadowbrook Avenue is the second victim from the Red Roof Inn shooting scene. Officers established crime scenes at both the initial shooting location (Red Roof Inn / I-17 п Indian School Road) and the secondary location (38th Drive and Meadowbrook Avenue). Phoenix Police detectives have taken command of the investigation.
