US, Bakersfield: Bakersfield Juveniles In Crash After Striking Pedestrian

Bakersfield, United States - March 22, 2025 03/22/2025 12:27 pm (GMT-0700) BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – The Bakersfield Fire Department and the Bakersfield police officers responded to a single-vehicle crash involving a gray Toyota sedan that hit a tree and a fence at the intersection of South Real Road and Eisenhower Avenue. Reports indicate that two male juveniles in the sedan hit a male pedestrian while attempting to buy something from Facebook Marketplace. After striking the pedestrian, the juveniles attempted to flee the scene but crashed into a fence and subsequently hit a tree. The pedestrian sustained minor injuries and was transported by Hall Ambulance for treatment. One of the male juveniles was assessed by Hall Ambulance at the scene and then released to the Bakersfield Police Department, who apprehended both males. Authorities from the Bakersfield Police Department remained on the scene to investigate further.
