This is the shocking moment a delivery truck suddenly exploded in a giant fireball, causing a glass-shattering shockwave.

The incident took place at an intersection in Konakovo, Tver Oblast, Russia, on Wednesday, March 19.

Dashcam footage shows a car stopping at some traffic lights and waiting when a delivery truck appears to its right in a car park in front of some shops.

A few seconds after entering the shot, it explodes in a huge fireball, cracking the car's windscreen.

The shockwave from the blast knocks the dashcam over, with debris strewn all over the road.

The motorist driving the car can be seen apparently heading toward the scene of the blast after getting out of his vehicle as the video clip ends.

The delivery lorry was reportedly a Gazelle vehicle, and the explosion was caused by an oxygen cylinder.

Reports said the driver of the truck died in the blast, with no other injuries reported among passers-by.

Authorities are investigating the incident.
