Shocking footage has emerged from China of three men and one woman smashing up a hotel and fighting with police after being refused check in.

In the CCTV video, filmed in Shaoxing, Zhejiang Province last Monday, a woman can be seen stopping a man from trying to attack the receptionist, prompting to storm off. But seconds later a fight breaks out.

When a police officer arrived the fight continued with three men and a woman fighting with him, even after he allegedly fired a shot.

The policeman was slapped by the woman and a flowerpot was smashed over his head.

When the backup came, two male and one female were arrested, while, the fourth man later handed himself in to police after initially running away.

The policeman's injuries were treated in hospital.
