A pensioner was seen living his best life - spinning around in circles on a beach with pure joy.

The elderly tourist in black Speedos delightfully twirled on the sand with his arms outstretched in Phuket, Thailand.

Footage shows the holidaymaker appearing to soak in the sun while rotating in a trance as the sound of waves hitting the shore fills the air.

He spun for more than seven minutes without losing balance, astonishing other beachgoers who watched in amusement on March 24.

Onlooker Rock Kovanich said: 'He looked so happy just being on the beach. The old man ignored everyone else. He was in a different place.'

Phuket is Thailand's largest island. The region is seeing a boom in tourism since visa restrictions were lifted last year in order to revive the struggling economy.
