This is the dramatic moment a heroic brother leaped across a sofa to save his falling sibling.

Anucha Boontot immediately vaulted over the grey couch to catch his younger brother in their living room in Yasothon, Thailand, on February 22.

CCTV footage shows the two children playing on the furniture when one of them leaned too far over the edge and nearly tumbled to the ground.

Reacting in a split second, the quick-thinking sibling grabbed the toddler just in time, preventing a dangerous fall.

He then briefly hugged the child before helping him sit safely back on the sofa.

The little boy reportedly did not sustain any injuries from the incident.

Anucha said: 'We always need to supervise them to make sure they don't get hurt while playing.'
