Drone video shows a man killed by a crocodile in the waters of Palu Bay, Indonesia
Video footage recorded using a drone shows a crocodile dragging a resident into the sea after attacking him.
This incident occurred in the waters of Palu Bay, Palu City, Central Sulawesi Province, Indonesia, Thursday (3/27/2025) Hagi.
The victim is a man named Sadarwinarta aged 51 years.
According to witness statements, the victim was swimming around the waters of Palu Bay when he was suddenly attacked by a crocodile.
The victim could not fight back because he was immediately bitten and dragged by the crocodile into the sea.
The SAR team that received the report immediately carried out an evacuation operation. They managed to evacuate the victim's body.
However, the victim could not be saved, due to crocodile bites in several parts of the body, so the victim died.
Currently, the victim has been evacuated to the hospital to be handed over to the family for the burial process.
