Los Angeles, United States - March 26, 2025 03/26/2025 01:05 am (GMT-0700) NORWALK, Calif. – A deputy from the Norwalk station of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department witnessed a car-to-car shooting on Norwalk Boulevard, near the 14000 block, in the city of Norwalk. Although a male and female inside the targeted vehicle were fired upon, neither was struck by gunfire. The deputy pursued the suspect, who fled south on Norwalk Boulevard before entering the city of Artesia. The suspect attempted to access the westbound 91 Freeway from Pioneer Boulevard but crashed at the beginning of the on-ramp. Following the crash, three suspects wearing dark hoodies fled on foot into the parking lot of a Motel 6 located at 16905 Pioneer Boulevard in the city of Artesia, as well as into the surrounding neighborhood. One deputy observed one of the suspects running with a handgun in hand. Sheriff's deputies established a perimeter in the area and continued their search for the outstanding suspects. At this time, it is unclear if any individuals have been taken into custody or if a firearm has been recovered.
