The damage to the house and bathroom of Sue Runde is now believed to be from a towed target missile first hitting her house then lodging in nearby trees.
Nobody was hurt but causing significant damage.
Sue says it was too low as it came over my house - it had been diverted to Newquay Airport because it had reported a problem, the winch wasn't working so they couldn't retract the cable.
"It came over my house and obviously too low, so it went through my roof, destroying part of my roof, all the bathroom, lots of damage inside and was absolutely horrifically frightening."In adjacent trees a suspiciously missile shaped device, clearly damaged at the front tend and connected to a cable which is strung out along the tree line is observed. Military markings are visible on the tail fins. Crash investigators have not reached the site yet. Overhead an RAF heavy transport aircraft is observed circling the vicinity, if their is a connection it is as yet unknown. The sleepy hamlet of Tregaswith is on the out skirts of the country town of St Columb Major in Cornwall UK
