Jerusalem, Israel - March 27, 2025 Six police officers injured in Jerusalem riot – two suspects arrested Jerusalem District and Border Police forces are continuing operations to restore order on Shmuel Hanavi Street in the city and nearby streets, due to a violent disturbance involving many rioters who began immediately after a protest rally that was held against their opposition to conscription into the IDF. Over the past few hours, the rioters have resorted to violence, blocking the road, causing damage to infrastructure and buses, using iron bars in the hands of children, throwing stones and various objects at the forces, burning trash cans and attempting to drag them down the street. So far, two rioters have been arrested for violently attacking police officers and disrupting public order, including a suspect who violently resisted arrest.
