Gaza Strip: Iranian analysts lambaste Israeli, U.S. aggression in Middle East
The aggressive operations launched by the United States and Israel in the Middle East have undermined peace and stability in the region, said Iranian political analysts. While the United States is launching airstrikes on Yemen's Houthi forces, Israel has renewed its new military operations in Gaza in breach of a ceasefire agreement. Iranian analyst Foad Izadi criticized Israel for violating international law and the ceasefire agreement with its latest assaults on Gaza, further escalating the tensions there. He condemned the United States for not only failing to stop Israel's military actions, but also launching fresh strikes on the Houthi group, and termed it another example of the U.S. unreliable policies. Izadi accused the United States of unconditionally backing Israel's military actions, showing no genuine intention of restoring peace in the Middle East. Another Iranian analyst, Amir Mousavi, slammed the U.S. aggression across the region including in Iraq, Syria and Palestine under the disguise of "protecting human rights." When (U.S. President Donald) Trump said, 'Come and negotiate with us,' it was merely an example of 'U.S.-style negotiations' -- where an agreement is reached, only to be violated weeks later as they resume committing crimes and killings."; Gaza Strip - March 20, 2025 5. SOUNDBITE (Farsi) Amir Mousavi, political analyst (ending with shot 10): "In fact, the United States has supported Israel's brutal and inhumane killing of civilians in Gaza and Lebanon, while also carrying out bombings in Yemen. This shows that its policies have nothing to do with its claims of defending human rights. Especially in the past, the U.S. committed the same crimes."; FILE: Washington D.C., USA - Date Unknown 10.
