US: Coast Guard Rescues Woman in Sitka Sound
Sitka, United States - March 26, 2025 A Coast Guard Air Station Sitka MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter aircrew rescued a 37-year-old woman in Sitka Sound, Alaska, on March 26, 2025. The aircrew performed a medevac, hoisting the woman from the fishing vessel Nekton during the operation. After the rescue, the team transferred her to local emergency medical services (EMS) in Sitka, Alaska, for further care. The mission was captured in a courtesy video provided by the U.S. Coast Guard Air Station Sitka aircrew.
