Parakeets strip cherry tree blossom in St james's Park
Ring-necked parakeets flock to the Cherry trees in St James's Park, as they are drawn to the blossom like bees to a honeypot as they feed on the blooms to extract the nectar.
Half a dozen parakeets are seen in this footage from the 28th March on one tree stripping the flowers off at a rate of knots.
