Los Angeles, United States - March 28, 2025 03/28/2025 01:37 am (GMT-0700) WESCHESTER, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Officers from the Los Angeles Police Department's Southwest Division were involved in the pursuit of a suspect for unknown reasons. The chase ended at a location on South Sepulveda Boulevard when the suspect crashed into a blue Honda sedan. Following the collision, one person fled the scene on foot. Another occupant was discovered deceased in the suspect’s vehicle, which was overturned and wrapped around a traffic light post. The identity of the deceased, believed to be the driver, has not been confirmed. The driver of the blue sedan was transported to a hospital; he was seen on a gurney holding a blue backpack. The suspect who ran from the scene was also taken to a hospital. Los Angeles Fire Department officials requested additional units to assist with the recovery process at the crash site. The LAPD South Traffic Division is handling the investigation.
