China has swiftly deployed rescue teams, including an 82-member expert squad, to aid Myanmar in the aftermath of the catastrophic 7.7-magnitude earthquake. At the request of the Myanmar government, an 82-member Chinese rescue team departed from Beijing Capital Airport Saturday morning, equipped with advanced rescue equipment and emergency supplies. The team, composed of personnel from the Beijing Fire Rescue Corps, the China Earthquake Emergency Search and Rescue Center, and the Emergency General Hospital, landed in Yangon at 16:20 local time and is set to head to the most severely affected areas. Their mission is to provide critical search-and-rescue support and medical assistance to those impacted by the disaster. In addition to the rescue team, the Chinese government has pledged 100 million yuan in emergency humanitarian aid for earthquake relief. The first batch of aid supplies is scheduled to be dispatched on March 31, with further assistance to be provided based on Myanmar's needs. SHOTLIST: Beijing, China - March 29, 2025 1. Bus moving; 2.
