Resident instinctively catches falling cactus... leaving with with pricked hands
A plant lover instinctively caught a falling cactus pot - only to end up with pricked hands.
Ilham Kusuma was lounging in his bedroom when strong winds slammed his window shut, knocking the plant off the sill in West Java, Indonesia.
Footage shows Ilham reacting quickly to catch the pot but instantly regretted it as the sharp spines pierced his hands.
Ilham was heard screaming in pain as he struggled to remove the needles that were embedded in his skin on March 25.
The resident said: 'I intended to relax after days of working but instead, I had to remove the cactus spines off my hands.'
Ilham had several other plants scattered around his room, hanging on the walls and decorating the floors.
