On March 28, a powerful 7.7-magnitude earthquake struck Myanmar, with strong tremors felt in Ruili, Yunnan.

During the quake, the rooftop water storage tank on the 31st floor of Ruili Caifu Tower ruptured due to intense shaking. The tank, containing approximately 10 tons of water, burst open, sending a **"waterfall-like"** torrent crashing down from the skyscraper.

The immense force of the falling water impacted people on the streets below, many of whom were already scrambling for safety due to the earthquake. Some individuals were knocked over, while others panicked and fled in fear.

According to preliminary reports, two people sustained injuries from falling debris caused by the water tank collapse. Additionally, several individuals experienced dizziness, weakness, or difficulty breathing due to the shock.

Emergency responders swiftly transported the injured to the hospital for treatment and cordoned off the area to maintain order.
