On March 28, a sudden 7.7-magnitude earthquake struck Myanmar, with strong tremors felt in Ruili, Yunnan, near the China-Myanmar border.

Surveillance footage shows that at the moment of the quake, students at Ruili No. 1 Minzu Middle School were in class when their teacher reacted swiftly. He shouted, "Get down!" instructing students to take cover under their desks to protect themselves.

As the shaking subsided, the teacher immediately issued an evacuation order. He banged on the desk to get the students’ attention, urging them to leave quickly. While maintaining order, he guided them to evacuate in an organized manner, following the pre-planned drill route to a safe area.

Only after confirming that all students had safely evacuated, the teacher was the last to leave the classroom.
