The team of Anti Corruption Bureau Ambala today arrested a JE and a manager of Kaithal Municipal Council, taking a bribe of Rs 25,000, under the Zero Lottense Polity for the Haryana government to stop the corruption. The accused had demanded Rs 50,000 as a bribe to give benefit of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana from a person. As a profit, two and a half lakh rupees were to be given to the character in three installments. On the first installment of one lakh rupees, the accused asked the beneficiary 25000 rupees. The arrested accused include JE Tarun and manager Vishal Gupta.

Called to restaurant

In this regard, the beneficiary informed the Anti Corruption Bureau and reached the city council office with the money. There JE and manager refused to take money and called him to a restaurant in the city. The Anti Corruption Bureau team also reached the spot. As soon as JE and manager started taking money from the person, they arrested him red -handed.
Inspector Subube Singh of Anti Corruption Bureau Kaithal said that in this regard, Kaithal resident Gurbachan Singh had complained that these two accused were depriving him of the benefits of the housing scheme. He was filling the form for almost four years to take advantage of the housing scheme, but every time the officials did not give any bribe, the flaws were rejected by talking in his form. This time the authorities passed his file and said that as soon as the first installment of the housing scheme comes in his account, 25 thousand rupees will have to be paid. He immediately informed the Anti Corruption Bureau. Team reached the spot and arrested both
