Hundreds of ducks blocked traffic as they waddled across the road between rice paddies.

The flock of native breed Pateros was moving from farm to farm to feed on snails and other pests, helping local farmers naturally control infestations in Pampanga, the Philippines.

Footage shows the bird army pouring from one side of a street, forming a continuous stream as they marched toward the next field.

Cars and motorcycle riders had to patiently wait as the ducks took their time crossing on March 31.

Motorist Hanna Santos said: 'The ducks were so cute. We all had to stop and wait until all the birds safely returned to the fields.'

In Southeast Asia, farmers use ducks as a natural and eco-friendly method to control pests in rice paddies and other crops. This practice is widely used in countries like Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, and the Philippines.
