Playful elephant scares schoolchildren with its long trunk
This is the amusing moment a playful elephant scared schoolchildren with its long trunk.
The jumbo named Phlai Bai Boon was wearing a red and gold vibrant saddle cloth as it approached the pupils sitting on a motorcycle in Sakon Nakhon, Thailand.
Footage captured by Khwan Note shows some of the students touching the trunk of the five-year-old bull while two boys screamed in fear, dodging the animal.
Khwan Note, who recorded the video on February 19, said: 'Phlai Bai Boon loves interacting with children. He is always gentle despite his size. He's like a big child himself, always finding new ways to surprise us with his behaviour.'
Elephants are naturally playful and social animals, especially in sanctuaries, where they develop strong bonds with humans and engage in playful behaviors as a result of positive interactions and care.
