Loved-up sea turtles seen kissing underwater
A pair of sea turtles appeared to kiss while exploring coral reefs together.
Footage shows the green sea turtles gliding gracefully through the water, facing each other, their beaks touching briefly in Cebu, the Philippines.
The marine animals navigated the underwater landscape, swimming past corals and schools of fish on March 27.
Freediver Philip Gabutero said: 'They looked like a couple doing a pre-wedding shoot underwater. It was amazing to watch.'
Sea turtles are solitary creatures and do not form long-term pair bonds like some birds or mammals. They only come together for mating, and after that, they go their separate ways.
