Locals chase runaway umbrella as it blows across roof on windy day
Youngsters scrambled after a girl's umbrella as strong winds swept it away.
The pupils were on a veranda when they saw the pink Hello Kitty brolley tumbling across a neighbour's roof in Laguna, the Philippines.
Footage shows the Hello Kitty parasol rolling on the roof's edge. It almost plunged, but the gusts blew it towards Kyle Emlano and his friend Michelle.
The youngsters then chased the umbrella, which was caught on the railing.
Michelle quickly grabbed the rainstopper and returned it to the two girls on the street below.
Kyle said: 'We had just returned home from school, so we were still wearing our uniform.
'My friend was very quick and saved the umbrella for the girls.'
The umbrella was not damaged and returned to the kids on March 28.
