Recently, in a park pond in Shijiazhuang, Hebei, two rats were spotted swimming back and forth, competing for food while citizens were feeding the goldfish.

The two rats skillfully navigated the water, moving swiftly and agilely as they fiercely vied with the fish for food.

Although rats are land animals, they do have some swimming ability. Their adaptability is remarkable, and in certain situations—such as escaping predators or searching for food—they can enter water to survive.
