Myanmar (Burma): China's 2nd batch of disaster-relief materials arrives in Myanmar
Storyline: The second batch of disaster relief supplies provided by the Chinese government arrived in Yangon, Myanmar on Thursday to assist the Southeast Asian country in its recovery efforts following the recent devastating earthquake. The supplies included tents, blankets, biscuits, bottled water, and other essential materials urgently needed. The first batch of relief supplies offered by the Chinese government reached Myanmar on Sunday. Following the disastrous 7.9-magnitude earthquake in Myanmar last Friday, multiple Chinese rescue teams have arrived in the disaster-stricken areas, working with local responders around the clock to search for survivors. The death toll from the earthquake has risen to 3,085, with 4,715 people injured and 341 reported missing, according to the Information Team of the State Administration Council on Thursday.
