On April 2, teams began examining Valparaíso Cemetery No. 3, where the bodies of victims may be located, according to ongoing investigations. The initiative marks the Chilean state’s official commitment to locating around 1,100 missing persons, a responsibility that had long fallen solely on families and human rights groups.
