This is the shocking moment two Buddhist monks were caught with a stash of drugs, sex toys, and porn at a temple in Thailand.

The randy holy men reportedly hid the sinful haul at the Wat Si Mueang Thammakhun temple in Bueng Kan province.

They were said to have taken meth as they watched OnlyFans videos featuring girls in the twenties while they spent an evening pleasuring themselves on the sacred property instead of praying.

Police raided the premises on April 1, following reports that teenage thugs were loitering in the temple grounds. They barged into the monks' cluttered quarters and uncovered the illegal items stashed away with religious trinkets.

Drug paraphernalia, 'hyper realistic' silicone vaginas, condoms, alcohol, and lighters were seized from the scene.

Footage shows an outraged cop inspecting a plastic box filled with alcohol bottles and suspected drugs. He warned the monks: 'I am giving you one more chance to tell the truth. Where did you get this from? What you see here must be prosecuted.'

The men allegedly confessed to using methamphetamine, but denied owning the condoms and sex toys, which they claimed belonged to their teenage friends.

Both suspects were defrocked and detained to face legal action.

Police Lieutenant Colonel Seksan Ba-ui, deputy superintendent of investigation at the Bueng Kan Police Station, said: 'As part of the national strategy to combat drug abuse, we conducted urine tests on monks and novices under the sustainable community project to comprehensively address drug problems in the area.

'During our search of a temple in Ban Non Sombun, we were shocked to discover drug paraphernalia, alcohol, sex toys, and condoms inside the living quarters of two monks. They admitted to using methamphetamine but claimed the other items belonged to visiting teenagers.

'Such actions are illegal, and both monks were ordered to leave the monkhood to enter rehabilitation.'

Thai Buddhist monks over the years have faced several scandals involving financial misconduct, sexual affairs, and drug use, which have eroded public trust in the clergy.

In November 2024, a Buddhist monastery in Phichit province was raided after authorities 41 cadavers 'being used for meditation' at the site.

While in November 2022, a Buddhist temple in Phetchabun province was left empty when all of the monks were tested positive for methamphetamine.

Methamphetamine is considered a 'Category 1' drug under Thailand's Narcotics Act.

Under Thai law, using category 1 substances may be punished with up to three years in jail and a fine of up to 60,000 baht, while possession carries a fine of up to 200,000 baht and up to 10 years imprisonment.

Those convicted of dealing may face life imprisonment and a five million baht fine, depending on the amount involved. Producers, importers, and exporters of Category 1 substances face the same charges and may face the death penalty if it is proven their intent was to sell or distribute on a large scale.
