This is the hilarious moment holidaymakers nearly fell from an inflatable dragon boat when a sudden wave caused it to wobble before the ride even began.

Footage shows Kristel Mae Gatus and her friends sitting in a row on the red watercraft, wearing life jackets, in Zambales, the Philippines, on March 31.

Before the motorboat operator could tow them out to sea, a strong wave hit, making the inflatable raft briefly rock.

They can be seen raising their hands and screaming in excitement as they tried to keep their balance.

Moments later, the operator finally set the ride in motion, pulling them further into the open water.

Kristel said: 'The ride hadn't even started yet, and we were already struggling to stay on. It was a fun experience.'
