Playful baby elephant accidentally knocks tourists over while trying to cuddle
This is the amusing moment a playful baby elephant learned just how strong he is - knocking over a tourist while trying to cuddler her.
Charoenchok Suraneeyalapha and his friends were entertained by the adorable calf during their visit to Karen Hilltribe Elephant Sanctuary in Mae Wang, Chiang Mai, on March 24.
Footage shows the mammal tickling one of the vacationers. The woman can be seen laughing as the animal tried to playfully put its weight on her, causing her to fall to the ground.
Upon seeing what was happening, the mahouts immediately removed the baby elephant to stop it from hurting the woman.
The filmer said: 'The elephant is very gentle. He just wants to play with the tourists. He is still young do doesn't know how strong he is.'
Elephants are naturally playful and social animals, especially in sanctuaries, where they develop strong bonds with humans and engage in playful behaviors as a result of positive interactions and care.
