TRUCK DEPARTING SCRIPT Rescue operations are underway in Thailand following the powerful magnitude 7.7 earthquake that struck neighboring Myanmar on March 28. On March 30, rescue teams were seen climbing mountainous wreckage in parts of Thailand to search for possible survivors. The number of deaths continues to rise in both Myanmar and Thailand in the aftermath of the twin earthquakes. International assistance has begun arriving, with rescue teams from the United States, Japan, China, and India joining efforts in the region to aid affected communities. The death toll has climbed to 17, with 32 people injured and 83 others remaining missing, the local disaster management authority said on Sunday.
