On March 31, a traffic accident occurred in Ganzhou, Jiangxi, due to a truck's cab locking mechanism not being properly secured.

Surveillance footage shows the truck braking at an intersection when suddenly the cab tipped forward, causing the vehicle to lose control and lurch ahead. It only came to a stop after crashing into a tree on the opposite side of the road.

Following the accident, firefighters quickly arrived at the scene. Using specialized tools, they pried open the deformed truck cabin and successfully rescued the trapped driver.

Fortunately, the truck driver sustained only minor scratches and was not in any life-threatening condition. He was taken to a nearby hospital for further examination and treatment. No other injuries were reported.

Traffic police determined that the accident was caused by the driver’s negligence in failing to conduct a thorough pre-trip inspection, which resulted in the cab locking mechanism not being properly secured. The driver was held fully responsible for the incident.
