Schoolgirl, 14, falls under moving train before hero station officer saves her life
A 14-year-old schoolgirl who slipped under a moving train was rescued by a station officer in India.
Constable Govind Singh Chauhan ran over when the young commuter accidentally fell between the locomotive and the platform at Ashoknagar railway station in Madhya Pradesh on March 28.
CCTV footage shows the traveller attempting to board the moving train when she lost her balance and toppled over, becoming trapped in the narrow gap.
A bystander and the alert security personnel immediately grabbed her from behind, pulling her to safety just in time.
She reportedly did not sustain any serious injuries.
Authorities have since urged the public to avoid boarding or disembarking from moving trains and to exercise caution at railway stations.
