PALESTINIAN GIRL LOOKING OUTSIDE FROM WINDOW OF COLLAPSED HOUSEKHAN YOUNIS, GAZA STRIP, PALESTINE - APR. 6: An Israeli airstrike targeted a Palestinian family home in the southern Gaza city of Khan Younis, killing eight people. Civil defense teams are continuing their efforts to reach Palestinians trapped under the rubble. The bodies of Palestinians and those injured in the attack were taken to Nasser hospital. In the early hours of the morning, the devastation left by the strike was captured, showing the extent of the damage. Israel resumed its attacks in Gaza on March 18, shattering a two-month truce. More than 50,600 Palestinians have been killed in the enclave in Israel's military onslaught since October 2023, most of them women and children. The International Criminal Court issued arrest warrants last November for Netanyahu and his former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, for war crimes and crimes against humanity in Gaza. Israel also faces a genocide case at the International Court of Justice for its war on the enclave.
