A fire ravaged a home in Joshua Tree, California.

Dramatic footage shows firefighters arriving at a single-family house engulfed in flames on the 5100 block of Sunburst Street on April 3, around 9:30 pm.

The blaze caused a partial roof collapse, downed a live power line in the driveway, and threatened a large propane tank nearby.

A Cal Fire engine from Yucca Valley and San Bernardino County Fire crews joined the effort to combat the flames.

Four engine companies and one battalion chief worked together to stop the blaze from spreading to neighbouring homes.

Officials said the fire was extinguished in 32 minutes. No injuries were reported among firefighters or civilians.

The cause of the fire remained under investigation.
