US, Bakersfield: Arvin One Injured in Shooting Incident on Franklin Street
Bakersfield, United States - April 08, 2025 04/08/2025 12:14 am (GMT-0700) ARVIN, Calif. – The Arvin Police Department received multiple calls regarding reports of a shooting in the area of Franklin Street and South Hill Street. Upon arrival, officers found a man in the south alley suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Fortunately, he was awake and breathing. Witnesses at the scene reported hearing five to six shots fired in the area. The Kern County Fire Department arrived shortly after and provided emergency care to the victim before transporting him via ambulance to a nearby hospital. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
